Speaking, Consulting and Coaching

My joy in life is mentoring and encouraging others to become all God wants them to be.   In many ways, I am more excited about seeing the great things that are done by people in whose lives I’ve had some input than by anything I’ve accomplished myself.

Over the past 30 years while serving in various leadership roles, I have traveled around North America and overseas as a speaker and workshop presenter. Besides my main focus on addiction recovery within the Church, I have shared on such topics as nonprofit management, program development and, most recently, on closing the Digital Divide. I have also given away lots of free advice over coffee, online and on the phone.

I have had the privilege of standing with pastors, nonprofit executives, counselors and program directors to help them grow their organizations and invest in themselves personally and professionally.   Having someone objective to talk with who understands –   who can help sort through issues and develop good strategies   – makes all the difference in the world.

Too often, leaders become isolated, without peer relationships that allow them to explore ideas and share struggles with objective people who truly understand their situations.   This is especially true for those who are leading start-up organizations and smaller organizations that don’t have big dollars for a full-fledged professional development consultant.     (see some of my consulting projects)

My  LinkedIn profile  is an easy way for people to learn a little more about me.

Contact me, if you are interested in having me speak at your event or to schedule a free 30-minute consultation.
